Translation
Are you negotiating with a firm in Spain and you would like to have your agreement translated into Spanish? Do you export equipment of any kind and you would like to provide your customers with instructions manuals in Spanish? Would you like to have your article translated for a journal in Spain? Are you planning to offer your web page in Spanish in order to increase your sales? Are you staying in Spain for a long time and you need your medical documents translated? If you are in a similar situation where two languages are involved, I can help you. Translating is much more than changing the words in a language for the ones in the other language.
Besides I guarantee that all documents and information you provide will be kept in the strictest confidence. We can even sign a confidentiality agreement.
Sworn translation
A sworn translation is usually required if you are submitting foreign-language documents to courts, governmental agencies, or non-governmental organizations such as universities, colleges and other institutions. Kind of documents that are usually translated in this way are: a divorce sentence, an adoption application form, a company’s bylaws, a degree certificate or academic record. A sworn translation means that the translated document is signed and sealed by an authorized sworn translator who certifies that the original text has been transferred into the target language faithfully and completely. This signature and seal is why sworn translations must only be supplied on paper, though I can send a scanned copy by email if you need to speed up your paperwork.
I am a sworn translator and interpreter English-Galician-English and also Spanish-Galician-Spanish. I can supply you with a sworn translation between English and Spanish but with a liaison document in Galician. You will only pay one sworn translation, but you will get more paper.
When the translated document is submitted to an institution in a different country, the sworn translation must also be legalized or bear the apostille of The Hague. I will be happy to help you with this procedure.
Linguistic review and proofreading in Galician and Spanish
All you need to say is surely in the document, but you’d better have your document read. A second reading may help with ambiguities, you may need to redistribute the information to ease reading and comprehension of stodgy paragraphs, i.e. to produce an effective and clear document. People usually tend to write in the same way as they talk and this could be fine for an email or for a message in whatsapp 😉
Consecutive, simultaneous or escort interpretation
